Saudi Family Visa for Malaysian Citizens and Residents
Saudi Family Visa from Malaysia
What Is the Saudi Family Visa?
A Saudi Family Visa allows eligible relatives to visit or live with a sponsor in Saudi Arabia. It is intended for family reunification, and employment is not permitted on this visa. There are two main types.
Family Visit Visa
The Family Visit Visa is for short-term stays to visit family members in Saudi Arabia. It allows stays of up to 90 days and can be extended in some cases.
Family Residence Visa
The Family Residence Visa is for dependents who plan to live in Saudi Arabia long-term with their sponsor.
Final eligibility and approval are decided by Saudi immigration authorities. They may depend on the sponsor’s profession, residency status and current regulations.
Who Can Apply for a Saudi Family Visa from Malaysia?
Malaysian citizens and legal residents of Malaysia with a valid passport or residence permit can apply if they are sponsored by a Saudi citizen or by a foreign resident of Saudi Arabia who holds a valid Iqama.
Eligible family members include:
- Spouses
