What Is the Saudi Family Visa?
A Saudi Family Visa allows immediate family members to visit or relocate to Saudi Arabia to join a relative who is lawfully employed or living there. There are two main types.
Family Visit Visa
The Family Visit Visa is for short-term family stays, generally issued for up to 90 days. It can be extended to 180 days, subject to approval.
Family Residence Visa

Documents Required for a Saudi Family Visa (Bangladeshi Applicants)
- Original passport with at least 6 months’ validity and at least 2 blank pages
- Two passport-size photographs with a white background (no glasses)
- MOFA-approved invitation details, including the sponsor-issued family visa authorisation
- Copy of the sponsor’s Iqama (for residents) or Saudi ID (for citizens), and the sponsor’s passport
- Proof that the sponsor’s profession allows family sponsorship
- Proof of relationship, such as a marriage or birth certificate, attested and translated
- Valid Bangladeshi ID or residence permit
- Medical insurance
- Police clearance certificate
