Saudi Family Visa for Bruneian Citizens and Residents
Saudi Family Visa from Brunei
What Is the Saudi Family Visa?
A Saudi Family Visa allows immediate family members to join, or make a short visit to, relatives who are legally living in Saudi Arabia. There are two main types.
Family Visit Visa
The Family Visit Visa is for short-term stays, typically valid for up to 90 days. It can be extended up to 180 days, subject to approval.
Family Residence Visa
The Family Residence Visa is for families settling in Saudi Arabia long-term under the sponsor’s Iqama.
Who Can Apply for a Saudi Family Visa from Brunei?
Bruneian citizens and foreign residents of Brunei can apply if a family member holds lawful employment or residency status in Saudi Arabia, and the sponsor’s profession and salary allow family sponsorship. The visa suits:
- Professionals in Saudi Arabia arranging travel or relocation for a spouse, children or other eligible dependents
- Families whose Saudi employer or sponsor has granted family sponsorship authorisation
- Dependents joining a family member with lawful employment or residency status in Saudi Arabia
Foreign residents must also show proof of lawful stay in Brunei.
