What Is the Saudi Work Visa?
A Saudi Work Visa allows an applicant with an approved Saudi employer to enter the Kingdom for employment. The visa is valid for 90 days for entry. After arrival, the employer converts it into a residence permit, known as an Iqama.
The visa is intended for professionals who bring specialised skills and experience to Saudi Arabia. This includes engineers, healthcare specialists, IT professionals, technicians and consultants, as well as employees taking up long-term roles on corporate projects, sector programmes or key positions.
Who Can Apply for a Saudi Work Visa from Hong Kong?
Hong Kong passport holders with a confirmed employment offer from a Saudi organisation can apply. A Saudi-registered company or government organisation must sponsor you and obtain the approved work authorisation.
Foreign nationals living in Hong Kong can also apply if they hold a valid Hong Kong residence permit or ID and have a confirmed Saudi job offer.
A confirmed job offer and employer sponsorship are mandatory. Hong Kong citizenship or residency alone does not qualify you for a Saudi Work Visa.

- Legalised educational and professional experience certificates

- Attested and legalised police clearance certificate
- Valid Hong Kong residence permit or ID (non-Hong Kong citizens only)
