Saudi Work Visa for Japanese Citizens and Residents

Saudi Work Visa from Japan

A Saudi Work Visa allows an applicant with an approved Saudi employer to enter the Kingdom for employment. The visa is valid for 90 days for entry. After arrival, the employer converts it into a residence permit, known as an Iqama. The visa is intended for professionals who bring specialised expertise to Saudi industries and strategic initiatives. This includes engineers, healthcare practitioners, IT experts, technicians and consultants, as well as professionals taking up long-term roles on key corporate projects, sector programmes or senior positions.

Who Can Apply for a Saudi Work Visa from Japan?

Japanese citizens with a confirmed employment offer from a recognised Saudi organisation can apply. A Saudi-registered company or government organisation must sponsor you and obtain the approved work authorisation.

Foreign residents of Japan can also apply if they are legally resident in Japan and have a confirmed Saudi job offer.

A confirmed job offer and employer sponsorship are mandatory. Japanese citizenship or residency alone does not qualify you for a Saudi Work Visa.
