A Saudi Business Visit Visa allows an applicant invited by a Saudi company to enter the Kingdom for business-related activities such as meetings, conferences, training, negotiations and short-term professional engagements.
The visa is strictly for business purposes. Employment or paid work in Saudi Arabia is not permitted.
Who Can Apply for a Saudi Business Visit Visa from Malaysia?
Malaysian citizens and foreign nationals legally residing in Malaysia can apply if they:
- Work for a company with business relations, projects or commercial dealings with a Saudi company
- Need to travel for business meetings, negotiations, conferences, exhibitions or site visits
- Are professionals such as consultants, engineers, managers, executives or technical specialists providing short-term services
- Are travelling for business or commercial purposes only and will not take up paid employment
Applicants must also hold a valid Malaysian passport, or a valid Malaysian residence permit for non-Malaysians, and an official business invitation from a Saudi sponsor approved by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).
Saudi Business Visit Visa Validity
The visa can be issued as:
- Single-entry: valid for up to 90 days, with a stay of up to 30 days
- Multiple-entry: valid for 6 to 12 months, allowing multiple entries with stays of up to 90 days per visit

- Original passport with at least 6 months’ validity and at least 2 blank pages
- Two passport-size photographs with a white background and clear facial features
- Completed visa application form
- Business invitation letter approved by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA)
- Travel itinerary, accommodation details or a sponsor letter from Saudi Arabia
- Proof of legal residence: a valid Malaysian residence permit or visa (non-Malaysians only)
- Company documents: a copy of the Saudi sponsor’s Commercial Registration and your Malaysian company registration, if applicable
- Employer letter from your Malaysian company confirming your employment, designation, purpose of travel and travel dates
