German Citizens
German nationals can apply if their immediate family member, such as a spouse, parent or child, lives in Saudi Arabia under a valid Iqama or holds Saudi nationality.
Foreign Residents in Germany
Expatriates living in Germany with a valid residence permit can also apply, provided their family member in Saudi Arabia is authorised to sponsor dependents or visitors.

Documents Required for a Saudi Family Visit Visa (German Applicants)
- Original passport with at least 6–12 months’ validity
- Two passport-size photographs with a white background
- MOFA-approved family visit authorisation issued by your Saudi sponsor
- Residence permit (for non-German applicants)
- Copy of your sponsor’s Saudi ID or Iqama, plus a copy of their passport
- Proof of relationship (marriage certificate or birth certificate)
