Saudi Work Visa Requirements: A Guide for Dutch Citizens and Residents
Saudi Arabia Work Visa
This visa category is designed for skilled professionals, consultants, and technical specialists who are required in Saudi Arabia for limited periods.
It is ideal for short-term business assignments such as:
Engineering or construction projects
Technical supervision or consultancy work
Maintenance and installation roles
Corporate training or project support
The Temporary Work Visa is issued under an official Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) authorisation from a Saudi employer and typically allows entry for up to 90 days, with an option to extend depending on project requirements.
Eligibility Criteria for Applicants in the Netherlands
The Saudi Temporary Work Visa is available to:
Dutch citizens with a confirmed project or consultancy assignment in Saudi Arabia.
Foreign residents in the Netherlands holding valid Dutch residence permits and relevant professional qualifications.
Employees of Dutch companies temporarily seconded to Saudi Arabia for installations, maintenance, or technical supervision.
