Types of Saudi Family Visa from Spain

All applications are processed in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in Saudi Arabia and finalised at the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Madrid, for accuracy, compliance and fast approval.

1. Family Visit Visa

For short-term visits to family members in Saudi Arabia. This visa is suitable for temporary stays and can be issued as single-entry or multiple-entry, depending on the sponsor’s request.

2. Family Residence Visa

For dependents joining a Saudi citizen or resident (Iqama holder) for long-term residence in the Kingdom. Holders of this visa can apply for a residence permit (Iqama) after arrival.

Both visa types require official sponsorship from a Saudi citizen or a resident with a valid Iqama authorised to sponsor family members.

Who Can Apply for a Saudi Family Visa from Spain?

Spanish Citizens

Spanish nationals can apply if their immediate family member (spouse, parent or child) is a Saudi citizen or a foreign resident living in Saudi Arabia under a valid Iqama.

Foreign Residents in Spain

Foreign nationals living in Spain with a valid residence permit can also apply, provided their family member in Saudi Arabia is eligible to sponsor dependents or visitors.
